No no!!!!! join SAU NSW....I make up the membership cards Boxhead...so I'll make sure you get a "special" one :bahaha:

I'm with Suncorp and I pay about 1300. Rating 1 (yes under 25) - but my car isn't worth anything near what a 34 GTT is worth... I think you'll find that the people getting quotes for approx $1000 drive vintage cars (like myself)

EDIT : changed 35 GTT to 34 GTT - don't blame me - I was drunk :(

I'm with Suncorp and I'm on a rating 4 and paying $2400 a year.

I'm only allowed two mods on the car which is a bugger. But I'd rather have insurance than go fast bits.

Everyone that I know that's with suncorp has some time of different rules to go with there premium. I don't know if it's because of age or rating or whatever, but I think it should be the same rules for every person.

R33 GTS-t Series 2, HKS FMIC, Blitz Pod, Cusco suspension, 3"turbo back zorst, aftermarket mags, aftermarket stereo. 31 years old rating 1 for life - Suncorp price = $580. The trick - live in North Qld! This puts me at 15 on their bulls**t points scheme but you're now allowed 28 (2 months ago I was told that I was at the max limit). I rang Famous today and someone who obviously had no idea quoted me $2000 - 2200, Just cars were $1150. I was told that same car same driver in Sydney would be about $5000. They're all Fascists!

Hey pear man - try Famous 1300 88 60 29

I'm with Just Cars - they quoted $4800 for full comp (which I didn't get)

NSW guys were talking on another thread about famous and how good they were so I called and they quoted $3300 so I reckon you should be able to get it for <$1300.

Nah, never bothered but I am intending on fitting a front mount and a few bits and pieces, if they ask I will say that it's a secondhand car from Japan and thats the way I bought it so I wouldn't have a clue whats stock or not...........

yes....this will work.....right-o

It's ok...my car is standard too.....

Suncorp....Rating 4, Northside Brissy, No finance, no mods (?)..... $1600

They told me that their system will give different quotes every day. So you could ring, speak to the same person, and give identical info and get a different quotes on different days.

    • Hey everyone!!  I've noticed that whenever I do my oil changes, after putting 4L in, the oil level sits at the top mark in the dipstick. This is after letting the old oil drain for a very long time too! I've checked the oil level daily for the past few mornings. It happens every time and it's confusing because all the threads say that it should take about 4.7L (With some just adding the full 5L) My next thought is to figure out if the dipstick I have is correct so could someone please tell me the length of the RB25DET engine oil dipstick?  I've checked images of some of the genuine dipsticks, but none of them have the length in it. https://justjap.com/products/genuine-nissan-engine-oil-level-dipstick-fits-nissan-r34-skyline-c34-stagea-c35-laurel-y34-cedric-gloria-rb25de-t-neo?currency=AUD&srsltid=AfmBOortQXofgmiHVRKuIaiKuygL4k0Ewp68c3isGZk0vvKOJ7Yqf3iB However.... the engraving on the genuine ones say 05002 while mine says AA000. This makes me believe that maybe I have a wrong dipstick? I just want to confirm before I buy a new one. The car is a fresh import from Japan so I don't have details of the previous owner to ask him. Thanks in advance 🙏🏾
    • Sport. I didn’t rebleed it cause I just removed the slave and left connected.    I will change line and slave and see how it goes.
    • Oh and how is the rattle when foot is on the clutch ?
    • Did you get the sport or track ? From what the documentation says the uniclutch has a small amount of movement to disengage.  So your story of tricky pedal setup seems common.    Hopefully you got it bled up too, as the bite point moving around is usually either plates wearing in or air in the line.
