Guys,

I am thinking on getting body kit from Fibre Creation for my 'line. What do you guys think about the kits made from them? anyone has it? Hows the quality? Are the kits fit the car nicely (without going through big drama/major modification during fitting) Any comments are welcome.

Cheers,

ecr33sky

No no and no, head over to www.teamjetspeed.com.au

A bodykit makes or breaks a car, if the bodykit is bad quality it stands out so bad. Spend the extra money on a trusted kit supplier ,not a kit made in china and very cheaply imported.

Thanks for the comments guys

appreciate it very much.

I have just rang one of teamjetspeed dealer and they said the kits from teamjetspeed are made in China. So it wont make much different from those from fibrecreation then. They all from China afterall.

I think I would rather spend more to get a higher quality kits from japan at this stage after having read and heard about those china kits that wont fit (even if it fits, its not a good fit)

But yeah...thanks very much guys for the comments...

Are you kidding me... jetspeed kits? You guys need glasses...

Ive ordered 2 jetspeed kits in my time one for a 32 one for a 33 both were over 20mm out on one side of the front bar, wouldnt meet up to the rear lights properly and the wider front guards didnt even go CLOSE to fitting, even when you bubbled them out, contorted them and tried to make the holes line up.

When I enquired about returning them for a refund or replacement I was told because they were sold through an on-seller i had buckleys to none of getting any of my money back or an exchange kit.

I'll NEVER EVER buy nor recommend a jetspeed kit again.

Oh and before someone drops the old "you mustnt have fitted it properly" comment, both kits were fitted by a panel beater from a respected company on the gold coast by the name of max butts automotive who said he had never seen a kit that far out before.

My battle for a refund/exchange went so far as to take pictures of it fitted and send them to the onseller and to seek legal advice which was never acted upon because it would have just been a waste of money in my solicitors opinion.

Not all jestpeed kits are consistant in different states.

All i know is that the NSW jetspeed makes there kits on site in australia and that they are good.

And the guys in vic SA are just resellers or using the jetspeed name.

Anyway i still reckon the DMD kits are the best you can get for the money.

well said...

being a composite technician myself i see all sorts of wrong things done with fitting bodykits but JETSPEED take the cake... they put a kit on a 32 GTST that come in and it was so out of line i still couldn't fix it... they looped at least 15 zippy's together and pinned the bottom of the bar back on ea side, when the owner was shown he was not happy... but said he only paid $550 for the kit.. i guess you get what you pay for.... if anyone is putting a kit on there car my recommendations buy original kits from japan they fit perfect as they haven't been flop moulded 3 times before there put on your car, you may pay a few more $$$ but well worth it in the end....

Im used to fixing kits that are very terrible, take the time you can pretty much make anything fit. You just have to find a tradesman that is passionate about his work.

Fiberglass is so easy to work with , theres not alot you cant do with it if you know what you are doing.

At the end of the day these are aftermarket parts, they are not bolt on.

Bodykits are suck a touchy subject, Im really getting tired of companys selling absoloute rubbish and they know there products are of shit quality.

Its up to you guys to stand up and contact the right people to deal with these companys.
