well it finally happened. customs charged me for importing stuff. i'd got away with it previously with purchases over $1000.00, but not this time.

had to pay just over $600.00 import duty for my turbo. OUCH!!!

so, based on the bill customs charged me, i made an excel calculator.

fill in the blue sections and left click on the red.

NOTE: to be used as a guide only. it is up to the individual to check for accuracy.

Did you have to use a customs broker for the entry?

They usually charge $85 for an AIRFREIGHT consignment and $75 for a SEAFREIGHT consignment.

my winrar said is was corrupted so i did a repair through winrar and it fixed it.

it worked for me, download WinRAR and unzip it through that.

for referance. you need to say its for a race car. 5% not 10% duty then gst on everything including shipping.
