Hi All,

Looking to buy a boost controller and wondering if you can help me. I have only really considered an electronic unit, however looking to buy a second have turbosmart dual stage gated boost controller. does anyone know much about the gated boost controller? is it reliable? how much better is a electronic? looks like i can get the gated boost controller for $150, whereas the electronic unit will cost at least 500. what do you guys think?

manual are ok but not if you boost it high. anything above 1 bar and i would differntly be getting an electirc. I have had both. A turbsmart boost controler. not bad but upraded to AVCR. I didn't really like the avcr to much hassel for day to day so i got a greddy profec 2 b spec. witch is great. if your search you should be able to get on for bout 550.

what boost are you planning on running? if you are only going to be running up to about 12psi then just get one of the turbotech ($22) controllers. i run my car at 14psi with one and it works well.
