Having only owned my series 2 for 2 weeks now,tomorrow im putting it on the road.And looking at the rear bar it doesnt look like my premium plate isnt goin to fit.What have other members done to fit the rear plate properly?

Also what size screw have you used? Pics would also be a good help.

I didnt put my rear plate on at vicroads, only the front. When I got home I cut a slither off each side (tin snips) and filed nice and smooth so no rough edges to scratch paint work, just enough to fit in the gap perfectly. More than likely you will need spacers too (more so for the front) therefore longer screws (40mm in length maybe I cant remember off the top of my head).

Oh and dont forget to take the screws, spacers and screwdriver/spanner/allan key (whichever type of screws you choose) with you to vicroads, if you need to take the car for inspection that is!! :)
