Hey guys,

I happen to have a set of R32 GTST type m front calipers and rotors at home which im not going to use on my 180sx anymore (going to use R33 stuff insteed)

Anyway i have a R32 GTS as my daily and i wanted to know what exactly i needed to change it from 4 to 5 stud??? As the CA brakes just dont cut it...plus i may do turbo conversion one day!

Im guessing ill need:

R32 front 5 stud hubs

R32 backing plates

do i need anything else???

Also what is needed for the rear? I think it already has the drum handbrake.

thanks

ull need the 5 stud hubs but make sure they are GTSt not GTS4 other wise you'll need to change you rear shocks

you'll need GTSt brake lines too

How about R32 GTR parts?

R33 GTR???

R33GTS????

We have the same pending question as our project approaches completion.

Is it possible to use the GTR gear?

Thanks in advance.

Rob

Is it a must to convert to 5 stud if you whack a turbo on a gts? couldnt you just redrill z32 300zx brakes or something to fit and leave it as 4 stud?

Hey mate i dont think it is i have a r33 gts which has an rb25det in it and it just has r33 gts-t front brakes, not sure about the back and still has 4 stud pattern.

Thats what i like to hear lol, less money for me down the track. Theres silvias and 180's out there with 4 stud which have monster engines in them and they are fine so i dont see why a 4 stud skyline couldnt stay that way provided it had sufficient braking power.

Sorry for kind of hijacking the thread mate, continue.

Cheers, Steve
