Weird Problem

Hi, i bought an all in one Din from brash imports, now the tv tuner and everything like the pre amp rca outputs are all in one and its sitting under my seat it has rca inputs for FR+ FL & RL+RR and others like AV and stuff. I bought a 12" JVC DUALcore sub and connected it to an amp and plugged it into the rear outputs RL + RR and into the inputs on the amp. But the weird thing is when i plug them both in on both sides a distorted unclear sound comes out of the sub hardly any bass but when i unplug one side of the RCA the sub comes on clear AND even weirder when i split one side of the rca's and plug them into the 2 inputs of the amp FULL BASS turns on, i thought it could be one of my channels of the deck but i split both sides of the channels and i get full bass its ONLY when i plug left and right on the amp and deck with the 1 RCA lead thats when it doesnt work. I dont understand why it does that and why i get full bass when i split 1 channel into 2.

oh yehh and the deck doesnt have sub control. But ive connected subs to decks without sub control with no problem.
