I am upgrading my injectors to low impedance/ hi flow on my R32GTST/RB20DET and I have a GTR resistor pack to be fitted. What I'm not sure of, is if the RB20DET has a stock resistor pack that needs to be removed/left alone? Does it have a resistor pack at all from stock??

I've noticed the small silver box mounted near the power steering reservoir, mounted on a bracket of it's own, with two wires down to a cannon plug. Looks very much like a resistor pack??

Can anyone identify this box??

Rgds, Grippy..

im going through the same dramas with my RB25 conversion right now...

im so completely daft i cant quite figure it out.

as far as im aware, that silver box is not a resistor pack...

a resistor pack has 6 wires coming out of it, that silver box only has 2.

EDIT: I think we need someone who is very switched on (sydneykid) to write us a tech article...
