thats a big price jump on plates that only cost $395 from PPQ, then again, i guess they cant be re purchased..

Just for a comparo...have a look at ebay or www.ppq.com.au resale bit and try to find a decent combo under $2000 or even $5000...its not that easy anymore

if you find the right person who wants them its probably not too dear. Reality is $700 could be put to some pretty useful mods that create real HP. GL with the sale. I've got a PPQ plate from my old car that i've given up on selling

are u able to change the colour at all, like if one was to purchase these plates, can they get re made into different colours..

a mate of mine wants the 51CKR ones, but doesnt want purplre?

PPQ do any colour...there is a cost, not sure how much. You can even get your dodgy non personalised plates colour changed if you want.

Once the plates are in your name, I think you simply fill out the paperwork, wait a couple of weeks and hand in the old and get the new ones.
