Sau Newbie Reporting In!

Firstly, I'd like to say hello to everyone here in SAU. The Stagea AR-X thread got my attention.

Some of you think that it might be weird for someone that doesn't have a Skyline to register in a Skyline community (To be honest, I'm still on my L plates!), but after lurking around for 2+ years, this looks like the best & interesting Aussie pararallel import forums that I've seen to (Same thing with gtrcanada, but that's not Aussie .).

I've been staying down under, in WA since 2003 (Thanks to my parents pushing me to skip Form 3 in Malaysia at the time & start year 9 Aussie education here.), and was surprised that the common parallel imports down under here are of the high performance variety such as Nissan Skylines & Silvias, considering that you guys have this SEVS restriction thingie (Which I heard came into effect at the start of the millenium.).

PS: I'm sorry if there's a newbie welcoming thread somehere around in here, but I searched.

haha, my main liking would be Toyotas, but I like other manufacturers too!

This might make things a little difficult when I can afford to get my own car though...

Hey most people here like other makes too.They just don't want to admit it on SAU.

Easy decision? Get a Skyline. Skylines rock. Coz I said so.

That's true, but Mazaratis can be so expensive... as can the M3.

Much better value to buy a Skyline.

To be honest, if you were looking for an import in WA the choices are likely to be Skyline or Soarer... I guess maybe Supra, but I had a sh!tty Celica (RA60) and it put me off Toyotas.

Who can go past the originaly V8 muncher?
