where are these shows??

just over 1 week to go so i think we need to get the map going

just a though a mate was saying that i may be a good idea to round up some CB's for easy comunication if going to an unkown place...Fully F&F bro :verymad:

so if we can get locations of the VW show that would be sweet

After a quick search it seems that the VW show n Shine will be at Cranbourne racecourse Map Ref 133 J6. Correct me if I’m wrong Fuzz

This may be good for the guy’s down East and South East but not sure if it will suit the others….

Throwing a spanner in the works an Idea could be that we Meet @ Cranbourne for the VW show then head up the mountain (Dandenong Mountain) towards the SAU show and shine and maybe a short cruise from there to Geelong or further……

This would most probably be a massive drive and a completely stupid idea. Though it may be good because then no one misses out on what they wanted???

Please shoot me down if you think it sux

Sounds ok to me, but I am starting off from (way) down south west so I'll be coming back this way anyhow... I'd be interested in checking out the shows for sure, so am happy with that option, would be pretty funny tunning up in a group of Stageas anyway, not usually seen in packs...

GOR cruise - to Lorne

Cruise - Local boy Muchdesign (Luke) to lead us into the wild

home - Petrol Fist then home

2nd

Meet - Meet Central early (Princes HWY Clayton Next to Mexican cantina/ park)

Cruise - Princess Hwy to S/E Victoria

VW Show n Shine -Cranbourne racecourse Map Ref 133 J6

Cruise -Dandenong Mountains

Rest -Photo’s, Lunch depending on time spent at show

Cruise -Dandenong Mountains to SAU Show N Shine

SAU Show n Shine -Birrarung Mar, Melbourne Map 2F J6 (alternate 1B S12, alternate 43 K9)

Lunch/Chat/Show off beasts - Relax check out the cars maybe lunch no.2

seriously at this stage and looking at how hungover l'm going to be ... l reckon the SAU xmas bbq would be the go, then l guess we could always go on a short cruise after it around the bay or something for those interested indriving.

I'd be happy to sit around eating hamburgers & snags talking cars myself!! :no:

Could juts cut out the final cruise after the Show…..?

-From Clayton to Cranbourne it’s about 25 KM so 30 minutes

-From Cranbourne to Mt Dandenong is roughly 38 KM which works out to approx 40 minutes

-From Mt Dandenong to Batman Ave Melbourne it’s approximately 45 KM so round 47 minutes. This is taking the Eastern freeway.

All up it would be say 2 hours worth of driving and approx 120km worth of actual cruise, obviously more for the guys coming from GOR for example. And couple of hours at each show? In total it would be about the same as going one way to Apollo bay which is 239km form Noble Park.

We could miss Dandy Mountains and go straight from Cranbourne show to SAU show…via scenic ghetto route…it would be good to take the cars through the twisties though and get some scenery pics

Hey the dandy mountains arent bad i live at the bottom of the mountain, there is nothing dodgy about where i live except me hehehe.

Look i am happy to do whatever, Its just that this was being organised so Stagea people could catch up and have a chat etc, I dont want people who said they can come but decide not to cause they are being dodged, ie: Luke, considering most of us live around the metro are even if we are outer suburbs we are still a hell of a lot closer than what other members are that live out towards geelong or ballarat etc...

I am more than happy to head out, over, around whatever (think I am the only one coming from this side?). We can do the GOR next time. I do agree though that the whole point was a Stagea get together so I wouldn't want other factors and events to detract from that happening.

-From Clayton to Mt Dandenong is roughly 33 KM which works out to approx 40 minutes

-Spend a couple of hours in mountains

-From Mt Dandenong to Batman Ave Melbourne it’s approximately 45 KM so round 47 minutes. This is taking the Eastern freeway. Could do an in town cruise… Just add maybe 15 min max

-spend some time at SAU show

- maybe cruise to Geelong for a final catch up then go home

Yep, the last destination could be optional (Geelong, could be just Williamstown or Port Melbourne if we still feel the need) see how everyone is travelling at that point I guess. I am heading that way so is no drama for me but if people want to split from the city that would be cool I think.
