Crate Engine

Hey since you guys are closer to japan than i will ever be, id like to ask you guys this question. DOes nissan still make RB 26 crate engines, or are they completly ou of production. and if they suplied them what would they cost? are the N1 engines still available, or are there more exotic crate engines available for purchase. i am curently pondering out a drag setup hence the questions i ask, any help qwould be greatly appreciated

Are you sure they're complete? I thought they were a long motor minus the turbos and electronics etc etc?

okay nissan still make the N1 blocks but they stopped production on the GT Blocks.

You are correct, they are long motors and dont include turbos etc

Nissan halted production of the N1 block some time ago, it is extremely difficult to find a brand new one at the moment (and despite what is on www.justjap.com.au they DO NOT have any N1 blocks - apart from one N1 long motor).

Rumor mill has it that Nissan will start production again before the end of the year and supply will start trickling through into Australia again early - mid next year.

They were expecting a few more blocks and Nissan Australia actually received some not long ago, all were immediately sold.
