Lol I agree, think he belongs in an HSV

Ah thats how they justify 160g's by adding a stupid little exhaust valve

dont know why i thought it was relevant but...

The new HSV VE GTS does 0-100 in under 5 seconds.. so they say. Pretty impressive for 75 g's worth.

Yeah that is impressive didn't realise how far HSV have come in the last few models :)

Their speed actually reflects their engine capacity

Apexi have the flipper for sale on Nengun.... ..they are quite cheap aswell..$300? :(

which is only compatible with very few systems i believe......and i hear has no point to it wat so ever....alot of ppl rkn its useless

HKS also have a new exhaust system with it inbuilt

if u wanna see it in action u can watch it here

Bikes have been running these things for ages. But, with more relaxed emissions and noise rules, they've been able to.

Practically every supercar has an exhaust valve. Some of them have multiple pipes, to change the shape of the exhaust so you have the right flow characteristics for low and high RPM.

The first car I can think of that publicised the valves is the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish. But now, the Gallardo Spyder, Ferrari 575M, 612, 599, etc, have it. As does the Corvette Z06.

Check out the Top Gear review of the new Aston Martin V8 Vantage. Apparently once you hit the RPM point where the valve opens, you can hear the car from 2 miles away. And, f**k me, it sounds awesome.
