Damo Monster
ok.. this question may seem noobish but either way.. i have noticed that on the hottest of hot days i loose almost all of the performance from my r32 gtst and my oil pressure seems to go quite low on idle... is this normal? on every other day the oil pressure and performance are absolutely fine, but when its a really hot sunny day, things arent so great... any ideas? cheers damo Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/142259-hot-days-and-turbos/ Share on other sites
GtstCoupe
yes this is normal , becuase on a hot day the oil becomes thinner and the air is hot you will loose a bit of power ,as opposed to night when it is also cooler and more dense you will make more power. hence why we have drags at night and also why we all love the night time cruising. cheers Edited November 7, 2006 by gtstcoupe Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/142259-hot-days-and-turbos/#findComment-2649076 Share on other sites

QBall-Cairns
LOL circulate ur air con into your intake. Have you modified anything other than your standard coolers? Heat is heat and you can only get rid of so much of it especially when everything gets heat saturated, hot air, hot road, hot everyting! Summer sucks.
