i have a quesion , im making a flange to accomodate my new bov , so it can be boltd to stock positioning , i wanted to know , would aluminium say about 5 mm thick or maybe a bit bigger , be good enough and endure the engine bay heat etc..? and not bend

basically im gonna just make the flange , drill the 2 holes to bolt in on , and a big hole in the centre same size as stock / then it just bolts the the bov , - an adaptor came with the bov , so all i will have to do is get it welded.

any thoughts ,thanks?

wouldnt need 5mm alloy, and is your adapter actually alloy?

cos if its steel or stainless, it wont weld to the flange you make from alloy.
