Installing Dvd-screen In The Stereo-spot [r33 Gtst]

Hi!

I can get my hands on a SONY DVD-player with a remote 6.5" widescreen and a remote control.

The screen comes without buttons wich makes it perfect for neat installations.

Now my question is if someone ever tried, and have photos of, replacing the factory stereo with a DVD-screen?? Should be about the same size..

I've already replaced mine with a SONY cd-player, but now im intrested in making it a bit more intresting.

Went and bought it earlier today, after checking size and all, to see that it'll fit ok, i might have a slight gap on the sides, but nothing that cant be tidy'd up

To bad my R33 is in a garage 20 min away, so that i cant test it at once, and start thinking!

Anyway, its a Sony In-Car Theatre KAV-H65MV consisting of a MV101 DVD-player, a XVMH65 6,5-tums TFT active matrix-widescreen, a pair of wireless headphones and a couple of remote controls.

Im thinking putting the player in the trunk since its a pure player, and the screen got an IR-port, altough it would be nice having it in the gloves-compartment.

Or maybe i should have it in the trunk, and have my Sony CDX M630-player in the gloves-compartment, and connecting the DVD-sound to the AUX-IN on that, and play the sound via the stereo.. got an Alpine speaker system, had to change the Alpine-unit though since it was somewhat old and didnt play burned cd's and had the wrong radio frequence..
