yeah... stupid me thought i could walk down the road to get lunch before it hit... i got halfway there and the heavens opened up.... it was someone had opened some floodgates somewhere.... i got drenched, and then hailed on... fun fun!

LOTS of rain in a short time.... High street was completely covered from one side to the other in water about 10cm deep at one stage, and it was flowing like niagra falls (was difficult to walk across)

so now i'm sitting here at work in the aircon, soaked to the bone, and freezing my ass off!

I just got home from dalby now and in the last hour I saw 3 accidents, left my business card at 2 of them...

All three were caused by people drivng in the wet as they do in the dry. All three were due to the back end of the vechicle slipping out, 2 ended up into powerpoles and the other one just into another car.

I also missed a dog by about 40cm's on the centenery highway at 100kph, it decided to go for a run in the rain. The car in front of me about 100m in front suddenlly merged to the left lane, which then exposed the dog to me and so i honked and half merged as there was a car next to me. I missed him by less than a half a metre.

My heart jumped, im sure that dog would have been hit by one of the cars behind me, i fell sad now...

People drive like idiots in the weather, 2 of the accidents i saw were small trucks and the other was a ute, all un-loaded hence why they lost their back ends round corners...

I have only ever seen like 3 accidents happen before my eyes, now today i saw another 3 all in a hour... WOW...

Haha.

Ages ago when outside sizzlers on aerodrome road flooded we took my first car which was a Daewoo Cielo through it. We had water over the bonnet and almost stalled in the deepest section which was about 20cm over my knees.

Todays storm was crap but at least the water tank is almost filled again.
