R33line
Crap, will insurance cover that? Only had third party on it and at the moment trying to find out WHO owns the tree, whether it is the council or RTA. They have insurance for these sorts of things..... they are up to $9000 worth of damage with the quote and i'm without a car Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/142417-tree-crash/#findComment-2653723 Share on other sites
R33line
so it just fell eh? /me giggles As you can see the damage was done at the front of the car and was low. Had the tree land about 2 feet in front of the car while travelling at 50km/h (in a 80 zone). R33line
Too me its looks hes hit tree In the situation, if it were good or bad conditions i still was gunna hit the tree. it landed about 2 feet in front of the car and there is no way i was going to prevent the accident. And for once a skyline driver (me) wasn't in the wrong, not to affend anyone but as soon as someone sees a skyline in an accident who do people think are in the wrong? As you can see the bastard had rotted out Edited November 8, 2006 by R33line Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/142417-tree-crash/#findComment-2653772 Share on other sites
poppin13b
so was it on council/government land or in someones property. Council. i'm sorry it may take a while someone house/property: knock on the door get a police report and call your insurance co so they can help you persue the claim (even third party they should still try and help out) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/142417-tree-crash/#findComment-2653813 Share on other sites

Unfortunately i was organising a cruize in january. might be someones passenger if it all goes ahead or drive a mates car cause one of them is losing there license Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/142417-tree-crash/#findComment-2655300 Share on other sites
2rismo
I hit a fallen Wattle tree at 70km/h coming home from ECRaceway one night after racing that day. Came round a bend at the top of Ousley and *BANG* Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/142417-tree-crash/#findComment-2655364 Share on other sites
SKY031
the council are saying it's an rta road and the rta said it aint there tree..... it may be an RTA road, but do the RTA own the property where the tree was planted? If the tree was planted on council property, it's the councils repsonsibility. Thats the hard part to find out because as soon as you talk to someone in the rta or council they automatically think they can talk you down and turn you away so easy....... its really giving me the shits Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/142417-tree-crash/#findComment-2657152 Share on other sites
