I fitted Arias forged racing pistons (American) - $1500 with rings incl. GST. My cuz, who built my engine, builds race engines for skiboats has never had one of these fail.

have ice given you a quote yet denham I know the forgies that leewah is using came from SPS Cosworth ones I believe.. Either JE or Wiseco should do the job depends how much you want to spend. As Merli says if the tuning is right you should have not problems on stock internals.. email hikari yen is weak against ozzie dollar you never know what special they might have sitting around japan tuning workshops will often discount stock heavily to get rid off it. they can do a search in japan and maybe land you a set at a good price. how much for labour have you been quoted.
