I purchased the high flow metal catco one and I am quite happy with it. I also got the dump pipe but have to make a slight alteration before I can fit it, so I just running the catco cat with standard front pipe and apexi cat back exhaust on for now and I feel there is an improvement just from the high flow cat alone. Looking forward to having the front split pipe put on. :whistling:

I want to get the catco metal one, so PM me if you can organise another group buy for them through BATMBL, as I missed out on the last one and I think it was a decent saving.

I too got the 5 inch metal cat and the split dump pipe.

I figured for a little more money i'd never have to change it again, no matter what power levels i decided on aiming for. Also, your cat is always going to be the biggest restriction in your exhaust, so why not get the best one? An extra $200 now for a better cat when you've probably spent over a grand for the rest of the exhaust easy.

I notice a fair increase in power from the two together. Hard to say how much, but they say that to notice a change in power it would be in the range of 10-20kw more??

Also, the 5 inch cat (with the split dump) sits closer to the body of the car than the stock pipe and cat, but as it is bigger hangs about 1cm lower too (in my case). So no real difference, however it does scrape on my driveway sometimes (but so did my stock one.)

Has anyone had any problem's fitting the front/dump pipe and cat do there vehicle?

I remember reading in his post that there were problems with the oxygen sensor and the actual pipe was rubbing on the underbody?

Cheers

It was a perfect fit - and this included fitting it to a new trust pe2 catback as well - great products (cant stress that enough)

for those of you who got the large body catco...any clearance issues if your car is lowered? I'm thinking of getting the small body one...

i actually bumped my cat going over those nasty thin but high speed bump. so now i have a leak that i have to fix up. been over it many times before and all other ones with no issues, just decided to scrape on this occasion. i avoid that road now ..haha.

as for fit on a 33 its a very snug fit. my advice is to heat wrap the waste gate pipe before installing as its almost touching the brake fluid piping. if you have abs it'll be a pain in the ass to do after let alone without it in my case. O2 sensor is fine. Also had to modify my head shield bracket to get it back on.

if only i knew all this before hey..ah well. as long as you guys know now =)

i still stick by as the best money ever spent though :)
