Hello all, I haven't driven my skyline very much for a few weeks and left it parked outside on my driveway. Now I find the brake discs covered in dirty spotted orange rusty dust. Is there any spray or whatever to prevent this from forming? Does the rusty crap damage my brake discs?

My discs rust up when i wash the car!! Dont think it does any damage. I just do what is already said, drive around the block normally for a few minutes (not hard braking, or brake dragging etc) and that cleans them up again. If you do find a way to stop it, let me know.

I think its normal, tiny brake particles (some of which are metallic) can always be found on your discs. Run your finger on the disc (after it has cooled down) and youll get some dust on it.

Hence when it rains = rust. Dont think you can do anything about it.

Its even more obvious after washing the car. Happens to all cars, nothing to be worried about.

As soon as you go for a drive, asuming you use the brakes :( it'll come off, nothing to worry about.
