Disappearing Posts Again.

I did a search of my own posts the other day knowing that I had posted something particular a few days ago and noticed a few of the posts I remembered making were missing from the list.

Well I didn't think too much about it and continued on my merry way.

Now I just went to a thread which I posted in - and saw the post, yes I did click the post button - this afternoon to see what other posts had been made and my post was not there.

What's going on?

If you're talking about the 4 threads you started in the for sale section, all the parts have been stuck into one thread, as per posting guidelines in the for sale section.

I was pretty sure I made a post the other day, and when I went back to find it, it wasn't in the thread I posted it in (or thought I posted it in)

Then I went through the list of my previous posts, and it still wasn't there, so either I didn't actually post it, or the forum really is eating stuff.

I just had a sift through the rubbish, and the only recent post i can find belonging to hanyou which has been removed appears to be a whore post which was removed from a for sale thread on the 19th of October.

are you sure it's not related to this issue you posted about a few days ago?

Ok, if you post something only to find its gone missing, please link me to the thread and give me as much info as possible (eg when you posted, if it had a title etc). I'll see whats going on.

I think it was on the 7th, Eug's was the only reply in there at the time, I think I moved the thread from the general discussion area and then posted in it, or posted in it and then moved it.... either way, I was still sure I posted in it... sure enough that when I came back and my reply wasn't there I got confused, i searched my previous posts for it, went through the bin looking for it, and couldn't find it, so i just decided that i mustn't have posted in there after all.

Ah, the indexing on the search or whatever is up the creek again.

Cause your post is there, it hasnt disappered.
