Now that I know zuboo works for 101 his posts are making a lot more sense as they are now much more biased that that of a customers. 101 pays zuboo, where as the customer pays 101, so there are 2 ends of the scale here.

Who told you this crap? zuboo works for 101? 101 pays zuboo? He may have a 101 sticker on his car, doesnt mean he is paid by them. Hey, does that mean that every other car that has a 101 sticker on their car is paid by 101? You need to get your facts right first and stop talking shit to get people on you side.

Ps. Next you are going to say i work for 101?

As far as I know there are only two people who work in the workshop and that is Rob and Varun.

Well the normal friend of a friend stuff there. The normal 4 different storys.

Either way Rob is a damn good tuner, other than this thread I have never heard anything bad about them. Other than apparently high prices, but then after talking to people who actually bought stuff off them even that was a lie.

I just think some people dont like the place for whatever reason.

But hey, my oppinion.

I think everyone should lay off phee. She has done nothing wrong cept had some poor customer service and is voicing her opinion...which is what she is entitled to do. The fact is...it doesn't matter about the $1000 and whether it happened or not. Rob and Varun are both honest people. The new owners are honest people as well. In my opinion you will only ever get good work from honest people. We deal with them every week so it's not like I'm some friend of a friend either. I have my own business so I have nothing to gain by talking them up either.

I personally guarantee their work is good. But everyone has to understand that even the best workshops still make mistakes and sometimes poor decisions. It's not about the mistakes, though, it's about how they deal with them. It's about honoring their warranty (which they do) and doing what they can do accomplish what the customer wants.

Cheers, Daniel.

ive been on this forum for years !! i was here when it first started ....

oh wait... no my bad. i havent, i just signed up for this thread.

I loved the point form post, it made things so much simpler for us country folk

PS. Phee you name woulnt be erin would it ?

I dont know either side at all,

but if i was in a different state, and needed a code to unlock my ECU, which i was paying money to be re tuned, and then told by the company that knew it to pay up, I would say get f**ked..

I understand that its protecting warranty,

but as she stated its being re tuned, so warranty void.

and about her telling others what the code is, why would she bother?

Anyway, dont flame me thats just my opinion.

no sorry zuboo, I meant that other guy who works at 101. just take your nick out and insert his and the post is fixed...

if 101 showed me some respect, I would have shown them the same. soooooooooooooo f**king over it now!

why don't the 101 cheerleaders start disputing the other SAU members who have had a bad deal handed to them by 101, ffs, im starting to get pissed off and that's not a good thing.

why the f**k would i come in here and banter a company if i am making all of it up? seriously, think about it, it's not f**king hard.

a point made out 2 everybody on this thread I AM THE ONLY ONE ON THIS THREAD WHO WORKS THERE!!!!!!!!! the rest of them are business associates or customers, and im getting real pissed at this thread time after u idiots sat the same thing again and again, "warranty warranty warranty". yes it was intended to keep the engine safe and is the reason for it to be locked in the first place. but our main priority about not giving out the password was protecting the friggin password, YES PROTECTING THE PASSWORD. that same code is used on dozens of other cars and at NO cost was to be given out under and circumstance. nobody in out shop knows where the $1000 issue came from, phee didnt personally recieve this offer and as was pointed out by her was told to a "mate" of hers. everybody who knows the truth behind it laughs about it and to be quite honest we'r all over it. phee or erin (man im confused i didnt find that funny u guys just confused me) has every right to be pissed, things hav gone a bit 2 far, and from what we know we dont know where the bullshit started. as i said we'r over it, make ur own choice people, hey if u want A1 service send it 2 darwin, we can see the performance car building ability up there is top stuff. 400rwhp hey, they must be good to estimate the output of a blown up car.

varun, just a word of advice... i'd quit while you're ahead... you're not doing your workshop or its reputation any favours by coming in here and having a go at potential customers/other workshops....

its just reflecting badly on you guys....

i'm not meaning this post to be a dig at you, just stating the facts

varun was simply stating:

- he is the only person who works at 101 and comes on here...

- 101 would not give out the password since thye use it in other customers cars and warranty.

- no one at 101 told phee that it would cost her $1000 to unlock it, Phee heard it from word of mouth and not from someone at 101.

- and i think he is making a joke about the 400kw part :(

I dont see what he is doing wrong except simply telling his side of the story.

It is Phee who came on here saying things like "ppl from PF rang for me then told me this n that" If she had issues with 101, she should have been the one talking to 101 the whole time, and not get others (PF people) to do the talking for her. If you get others to do the talking for you, words will get twisted by the time it gets back to u.

I have heard good and bad things about 101, but personally i think the story comming from Phee just doesnt add up.

i heard a rumour another funny story from PF that dale was actualy going to darwin to get some headies, first i thought no way thats got to be a rumour, but then i thought back .. way back... to jamboree 2004 or 5 and then i got shown a photo of free willy and i was like "AGHH OMG MAKE IT GO AWAY"

is this really about locking codes. i mean are we really fighting cause weve all got pms ? or are we just a bit hungry ? ...... points to the snickers bar ( which actualy will cost u like 2 bucks a bar which is a rawt which will probably make u more pissed off )

    • Sadly I can confirm if you are actually seeking to drift, you will quite easily spin up one wheel. Even if you're going in a straight line. I am not entirely sure of the metrics/terminology here but there's only a certain amount that the helical will actually spin both wheels. I've seen it on video with my own car where two lines of smoke switch over to just one after you really get in to it. Unlike with a clutch diff where you can keep your foot planted until the car regains grip, in my experience with the helical you want to be utilizing traction control allowing LIMITED slip or lifting (partially) when you start to spin up both tyres with a Nissan helical. Which makes them pretty sub optimal for drifting duty. That said... this is probably a helical on numbers alone. Just put the Kazz in
    • Let's just fix the problem by f**king the rest of the gearbox.
    • Unlikely, as per Greg's post. This is not helical diff behaviour unless one wheel is up off the ground. Shimming what? You don't "shim" a mechanical LSD. Probably not in the sense that you have heard of people "shimming" a diff. And the process that Nissan f**kwits call "shimming" a diff involves super-preloading a VLSD cartridge against the side of the diff to create a friction/wear point (in a place that it wasn't supposed to have one) to make the sloppy, useless, viscous diff into a hybrid viscous/mech abortion. In case it isn't clear, I consider the process to be stupid. Nike.
    • How much does the shifter move when the car is in gear with the engine off? If it is more than about 1cm you need to replace your shifter bush. Your shifts will just get crunchier, not faster, with a short shifter unless you also rebuild the whole box
