hey, i tryed to search but i might of missed this one but, im starting to buy gauges and all, as stock ones arent great. im loooking to get apexi boost gauge el series. but i was wondering which would be beta.

Mechanical or electronical ?. electronical looks like a bit more money, but which would be more accurate? and easy to hook up?

sorry if this has been answered. if you know a post just post the link here. thanx

im unfamiliar with electronical boost gauges. depends what you want really, electronic defi gauges etc have recall and playback options, if non of that interests you, then get a mechanical for a simple straight forward boost reading with easy installation.

as said, depends what your after, if you need multiple gauges and want some extra features use electric, if you just want a boost guage a mech is nice and easy for you, mind you only get what you pay for, cheap mechanical guages can be a pile of s$#t

im getting the apexi 60mm boost gauge el series. ill prob get other gauges within the same series and brand.. so i should get electric if im after more then a couple of gauges?.. this brand of gauge should be accurate for reading right?, and should be ok to have that machanical and other gauges electric?, or will that just get annoying and messy?, thanx for the replies as well

if your buying a top brand like that it doesnt make too much difference, except for as mentioned, electric have fancy start up features (needle dances around) and have playback of peak boost and stuff, also i would think if youve got a lot of gauges electric would be cleaner as they all go into the main control box. either way if your getting them installed professionally it wont matter. maybe one way will cost more, dunno
