uhhhh some bad news..... turns out the guy i was speaking to last time just told me that he could get the seals without checking. i went down today and after 15 mins of searching on the computer, another guy said he wasnt able to get them

Out of interest did they try and match the seals to another car? I would be surprised if the seals themselves are skyline specific - might just need the correct length of other standard seals

Ok guys I'm keen on this subject and I reckon a lot of other people will be wanting these seals at a good price.

If anyone can suggest some good places to start I'll do the ringing around and see what I can come up with.

try Spectrum Rubber, located in NSW

http://www.spectrumrubber.com.au/contactus.htm

i think they may still be settin up there website because i cant access there product catalogue but like i said, they did supply my rx7 door seals and had the option for a number of other old skool rotors so one can only try given that our skylines are now a fairly, dare i say, common variety of vehicle.

keep everyone posted ppl

Well Spectrum's prices aren't any better than Nissan Australia. Bummer.

In fact they get some of their seals from Japan anyway so they'd be Nissan ones anyway.

Spectrum did say they could do a better price depending on numbers but their standard price is about $325 per seal for R32 coupe. This is for the seal that runs up the A pillar, along the roof and down the B pillar.

For some reason the left and right side seals are a few bucks different in price.

    • I'll snap up some photos when I'm back home, in the office today meeting my "in the office" quota. Have 2x Teams calls scheduled in, office culture they reckon.   I've never owned a proper off the shelf sub, I've always made or modified broken ones with Jaycar plate amps and/or car subwoofer drivers. The current (and broken) subwoofer has a proper home driver in it, Dayton driver, thos one https://www.daytonaudio.com/product/118/rss265hf-4-10-reference-hf-subwoofer-4-ohm FS of 25Hz, which is low but not low enough. Yeah, I think they were brought out to the market to compete with SVS. I would love a SVS PB-3000 but they're not cheap, especially after their price hike. From reviews online, it does look like the Tonewinner D6000 would destroy and with good amount of money saved too.
    • yeah, that happens too.  I'm really enjoying 4WDing at the moment, seen a few beautiful spots and want to go explore more of this enormous country.  The 370Z got a clutch LSD in it and a track day, great fun.  Getting the back end sorted out really rejuvenated my enthusiasm for driving it hard, the viscous one is poo especially in such a short and wide chassis.  The VLSD unpredictability was more benign in a long and skinny Skyline.
    • With my pre/power I use a remote trigger cable(3.5mm jack each end). I turn tv on, it turns both on via ARC. Or, just the pre with the remote or its streaming software, turns on both. Not that difficult at all. Obviously,  you would also want to actually update/upgrade over other factors in your life(bills, family, other hobbies, etc)
    • Yeah, nightfall was very "meh". And I'm crap at pvp, so feels like everyone has cheats(it's just my lack of skill). Final shape has been pretty good. New raid and dungeon are pretty good. If you want to give it a go, probably wait until it's on sale. But, as usual, most of it feels very familiar.
    • This morning was Kingswood's Microscopic Wars. It is the album's 10 year anniversary this year and we went to see them play the whole album as a special show a couple of months back. Was pretty spectacular.
