OMFG! - Meguiars Scratch X

People,

I bought this stuff today because I had a few tiny scratches. Most people would have left them, but if your a perfectionist like me buy some. It's really good stuff!

It cost be about $20 for a tube, but once I put some of it on the car, the scratches dissapear! You can literally see them fading away while your rubbing it on!

just beware cos it takes a heap of paint off with the scratch. I used it on my mirrors and now they r spotted White where i have used the stuff. gotta get them resprayed

Sounds just like a cut & polish compound like any other.. and i believe it does say "do not use on plastic" and mirrors are... pl__tic so ....

But its good for getting out small scratches that haven't gone to the undercoat.. i've got out some pretty hairy ones to good result, but yes, it does take off a layer of paint

it didnt take out the swirls in my paint like it said it will

now its time for the grade 2 c & p

I have always used Meguiars fine cut cleaner (wash, fine cut, glaze and wax actually) - what exactly is the 'Scratch-X'??

Also, not many many maunfacturers put clear coat on their wing mirrors, necessitating extra care when cleaning.
