R31 Silhouette Skyline Stock - Adding Turbo

Hi,

Im looking to add a turbo to my 1987 R31 Silhouette Skyline

The car is completely stock, I have no idea where to start.

Im not looking to add a intercooler first off, but any advice on what to buy would be awesome.

Just get a complete vl turbo rb30et setup...exhaust manifold, turbo, xover pipe etc etc it bolts stright up. Check calaisturbo.com.au forums usally has all the parts you need for your conversion.

This is an easy conversion ive done it with an old vl be4. Took me half a day and i was boosting up the street.

Once you get a cooler wind up the boost to about 9/10psi and feel the power of a hi compression low boost setup! i must add that this has been done many a time with and without reliabilty issues.

you could also bolt on to your current setup, if you upgrade to a aftermarket ecu.

step by step, i.e bolt on the ecu, turbo.. exhaust, intake. then start going cooler and other mods.
