In This Thread Usherly/342four/cinemaboy Will Review Movies

Yerp Crank was pretty damn average i reckon. The plot line was so strung together im going to have to give it the 2 chewbacca rating.

World Trade Centre:

Oliver Stone obviously had big shoes to fill with this one but it didn't really do it for me as a story. You don't get to see anything falls down and the majority of the movie is dedicated to a couple of guys getting buried and their wives/families running round in circles flailing their hand and say "oh my god oh my god" while lots of firemen and police hold hand with people of different colours under an American flag and sing Koombaya.

In a ninja rating 5 being highest i give it 2 ninjas.

A Scanner Darkly:

Quite an ambitions project for warner independent and they did manage to get a few good names to carry it through. Robert Downey Jnr is damn good though Keanu plays his standard role. The way it is shot is most interesting and i would suggest the best way to watch this film is under the influence of some type of psychedelic. Though i haven't read the book, good work by Mr Dick for setting this just 7 years in the future as it makes more sense that way than i think blade runner and total recall did as thrillers instead of sci fis.

3.5 ninjas and 1 chewbacca as it was a little unclear with it motives.

Talledga Nights: the Ricky bobby story

If you have seen old school and other will ferrel movies apart from elf you will get what you expect from this. I am not big ferrel fan but i did find myself cracking up in parts, gotta love low brow comedy.

3 ninjas

bloody awesome i reckon

you've all prob read the reviews so im not going to say much

daniel craig is an awesome bond, movie moves along nicely, blaa, blaa, blaa

enough action, enough funny bits, enough awesome cars (nice aston martin), hot women

the names Bond, James Bond: :D:ninja::dry::ninja::D

over the hedge

cool movie: raccoon called RJ niks the food stored up by a hibernating bear, but the bear catches him in the act of niking it. food gets destroyed by a bus ans so RJ has a week to get all the food back

he comes across this 'family' of eclectic animals, and uses there foraging skills and his brains to get the food back from the humans over the hedge

some cool funny parts in it, but also some very soulful moments

steve carrell (the (american) office, 40yr old virgin) does an awesome job being the nutty squirrel

:D:ninja::D:ninja:

    • hahaha @joshuaho96 the most action it gets is when I have to drive from West to SE VIC to meet the fam. Even then, it;s on highway cruising speeds
    • don't know anyone in this thread, but i just found it, read the entire thing in a few hours, realized greg is still posting progress, and just have to say, this is awesome. it looks awesome. 100% right about the Uras kit making it a pain to get on hoists...have the same kit on my 34 and it takes six 2x4s and race ramps to do it without taking parts off. this reminds me exactly of this thread. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/build-projects-and-project-cars/r63-amg-the-unicorn-of-my-destruction/110824/page8/
    • The only way to make that better is to weld on some bozozoku tips up past window height and roll with the cool kids.
    • I'd want an even MORE side on view. More or less you want to make sure the outlet is actually square with the outermost part of the bumper. Or you end up getting soot all over your bumper from your hektik exhaust. In any case, it looks pretty close. I think the way to fix this is probably more of an overhaul at an exhaust specialty shop if you want tips that are rounded off or sit nicely with the bumper but have proper clearance and don't move - Probably more of a redesign than a quick fix. I've pencilled in my own exhaust with its own various problems, pinholes, PITA fitment, and other issues and can see myself going to a shop and saying "JUST DO THIS BUT BETTER?"  Which is gonna work better than any more small fixes. I'm gonna chime in here officially with "from an outsider perspective this exhaust looks fine so this is self OCD probably" (which I also suffer from)
