Clutch Problems

I just bought a 300zx and my clutch is making a ringing/rattling noise whenever i put it in despite whether i am in gear or not. Does ne1 no what the problem could be? My aircon compressor is also sitting in my glovebox and the aircon system has not been upgraded since importation. What is the process involved with this upgrade. I live in south brisbane area and were wondering if ne1 nos a good workshop. If ne1 can help me out it will b appreciated. Thx

could be a twin or triple plate clutch - the ringing is normal - i have a twin plate and it makes a high pitched metal ringing noise whenever the clutch pedal is depressed.

Yep,my twin plate does the same thing.perfectly normal.
