Coilover Issue

i have a knock in my coilovers. its on the front passenger side. i hit a pothole in the road and now whenever i turn left it knocks and its so annoying.

i took it to a suspension guy and he said that because it is lowered the knock has caused the plates on either end of the coilover to be rubbing every time i turn. does this sound right??

any ideas and advice would be much appreciated

did the suspension guy check for leaks? If it only started after u hit a pothole...sounds like its rooted. TIme for a rebuild or new coilovers!
