Hi Guys,

Just wanted to show off some nice pics that were taken of my car today.

Big thanks to my brother Chris for taking the shots. To see more cool pics visit his site www.chrisbennyimaging.com

That looks awesome, what rims are they? What else have you done since you have had it?

They are Axis Hiro rims. 18x8.5

So far I havent done much, just the wheels, split dump/front, metal cat and filter. (it already had a cat back)

I will eventually get front mount, high flow and SAFC. I want about 200kw @ the wheels, but that will have to wait seeing as i blew all my cash on the new wheels!

Ben.

Thats a frieken awesome carpark for photography hey.

Your tyres are as shiny as your paint!! Awesome photos of a very tidy car, mate. In the first pic it actually looks as though your paint had a greenish tinge to it, but guess it may have just been from the grass.....??

Lookz very niice ...

mate u mentioned getting a hi-flow ..ive done it and if i was gonna go down the same path again upgrading the turbo i would spend a lil extra and get a much better turbo, something like a GT30 (as recommended by cruiseliner) ... especaillly if your chasing some respectible performance figures. This of course will mean there will be a few other things that will require modifying but overall you will have a much better package :P

Congratz on the beast tho mate!!! :)

Lee

Your bro can photograph my car anytime, mate. Considering all youve done is throw on a set of (very nice) rims, and it sits lower than stock, maybe? Thats one of the nicest stageas ive seen in a while hey. Not that i see a lot.

haha yeah he is very good! and Stageas are beautiful things... :)

Yeah at the moment, its only rims, suspension and exhaust.

Once I have done a few more things to the car we will get some real beauty shots of it!

Ben.

    • Man, you guys are like an all knowing encyclopedia.. how do you guys know how to fix everything?? but thanks. i will try to trace this wiring today. What is this globe thing you are referring too? Globe Power Supply? Are you referring to the light bulb?
    • Vinyl paint always ends up coming off interior trim and looking like arse. For the a pillar trims.....just try cleaning them with fabric shampoo? Maybe ditto for the headliner.
    • Hi everyone, I'm generally new to DIY projects, and I've browsed this forum and watched a lot of youtube videos but still have a few questions   Firstly, how does spray painting interior hold up? in particular like vinyl parts, my current mode of thinking is to use methyl spirits to take off original paint, clean/prep well, light coats, no primer or clear coat    Secondly, what is recommended for the headliner and, for example (my car is a r34), the A-pillars which are some kind of other fabric material, do you think I would be successful at retrimming these? or would it be better to go down the blacking out via Dupli-Color Vinyl & Fabric Paint    Any other advice / tips / tricks for refreshing/modernising these interiors?    Thanks
    • As title says  Pm a photo with what u have  Type m style would be good As Hidding a thick front mount
    • Just note that when trying to find a short in a globe power supply, it is best to disconnect the globe as it will allow current through to earth. With it unplugged it is easier not to get confused. Also with the r32 wiring, the high beam has 2 power supplies (one when you push the switch forward and the other when you temporarily pull it back; so if it is the high beam blowing you will need to trace both circuits
