Might Be A Stupid Question But Can You Drive Without A Front Bar?

as topic states, can you drive without a front bar if you still have indicators? might be a stupid question but mine usually are. think the answer is no but not sure why.

Probally not because if you hit somebody you'd mash them with all the 'sharp' bits. Doesn't mean I would think twice about doing it and I see plenty of cars driving round every day missing front and rear bars. As long as it's not for an extended period i'd say it'd be ok...

I did it for a while and managed to rip apart all my stone guards etc.. so now cable ties are holding whats left of them in place.

if you have a lagit reason to drive with out a front bar, example im taking my car to the panel beater you should be able to get away from the cop...

I;ve done it once. that was only to take to mechanic, and then to guy fitting my new bar.

Anything sharp is usually a no no. but then thats common sense. not necessarily the law.

further to that, we've all seen cars doing dodgey with no front bar, so you better have explanation ready for el coppo.

ummm... its illegal, so therefore you wont get away with anything in most cases
