Slander is verbal, libel is written. And yes, an internet forum constitutes publishing.

http://www.austlii.edu.au//cgi-bin/disp.pl...l?query=gutnick

This is wrong in two ways too:

slander is only wen you do it in obvious public places eg. owning your own tinting business and on your adds and business cards saying "we are soo better then johns tinting"

Also threatening to report a matter to the police or any other government department is illegal if the intent of the threat is to gain an advantage from the person being threatened.

Dude, bad luck. I understand your frustration and it appears that you tried to install it correctly but something has gone wrong. It's not Slide's fault. Any engine that kills 3 turbos needs to be looked at.

As expensive as it sounds, I think you need to pull the engine down and check it out because if the lines are fine, the problem is internal.

BBE,

According to your previous threads you had a GCG highflow die soon after fitting. Don't think there may be an issue with your setup if you have had 2 turbo's let go one after another?

Thats just even funnier

Was there a slander thread about GCG?

:sorcerer:

Sounds like someone is just angry they have killed yet another turbo because they have no idea what they are doing

Oh no.....another locked thread.

This will stay open unless someone has an issue?

bbe has made himself to look quite the idiot here.

And slide's post with the explaination is 100% correct, and it clarifies for everyone what has happened here, which is bbe's car has starved the turbo of oil for one of many reasons.

Good on Slide if you ask me.

This just backs up his business, and makes bbe look like nothing more than a moron

$50 says bbe pops an engine by the end of the week.

This thread has just exposed what a good trader Slide is... a real credit to you being able to deal with such a difficult customer in the professional manner you have.

well done slide.

9500rpm on a std engine really is a tad unrealistic.

If anything I'd say this is the cause for oil issues, the motors hammered. Quite possibly oil pressure is a too low on idle/low rpm causing the turbo failures.

Gibson motorsport back in the Bathurst GTR days limited their motors to 7000rpm due to longevity issues if they were to rev harder.

well thanks for deleting my other post

the explanation given for the dead turbo from ( forum sponsor ) was insufficient oil supply ( yeh right )

lines were ok he says as he made me send them but he blaming my engine which is the tightest rb20 anyone has every seen and has oil changes every 5,000klms and also uses slick 50

always an excuse on their behalf,,

asif the bearing didnt faill then there was lak of oil cos it was in my exhaust

so no warranty wat a suprise

after paying for the turbo waiting 8 weeks saying it was direct bolt on then the day i receive it a write an email sayin the wastegate did not seal was atleast 1-2mm gap from housing, his explanation oh after 2 or 3 power runs it will seal up yeh rite ! and that day then telling me my oil lines need modyfing wtf

everything was done correct everything, so lets blame the engine to void warranty, even thou the engine has never had 1 part fail ever and was running great until the turbo change..

what a sponsor hay

as fot the other turbo failing this was 3 years ago on another car fitted by sum1 else so yeh

my car must be fair healthy to rev to 9500 every day on 17psi constantly and has done 60,000klms with me driving it this way

yes woh he bearing looks like its had lak of oil---how about the bearing was faulty crapped itself and had lak of oil due to it all going out my exhaust

no that couldnt be the reason

and $ is not the point all thou it was not $500

well if he is such a champ lets see if he refunds the postage as he says

and yes i would like my turbo back and my useless oil line as it will be going to bill from ats !

seems its ok to bag a person on here but not a sponsor hay

freedom of speech

rant on/

You sound like a little kid.

Do you even have a drivers license?

People shouldnt do business with guys (kids) like this.

You seriously think your motor is something special, you dont even know what a "Tight" engine is.

I would let him go to consumer affairs and then when he is found wrong, find a lawyer and sue the shit out of him for anything he has publicly said.Im sure any other turbo company he has blamed for his f**k up would jump on the bandwagon.

Why isnt this tool banned already, i dont think this forum or any other forum needs Tossers like him

/rant off

Man, you are a tool.

All I can say is this......

Learn to Spell

Learn to Write

Learn to debate something

Learn to fit turbos to cars

Learn to accept when you have f**ked up

Anywho, have fun revving that car to 9000 rpm.

Why don't you post a dyno graph of it revving to 9000?? Have you got one?

I hope that when it blows, it blows at 9500rpm and quite literally blows the pistons up through the bonnet and the rods clean through the side of the block.

BASS OUT
