well - that guy shouldnt have said all that stuff about a trader on the forums - he should have discussed his options or whatever through emails/pm/phone

and he should have also done research that where someone is foolish enough to talk a lot of shit, he/she will be ridiculed like this

Does anyone else see what i see?

And no, im not talking about the lack of spelling

The bits of 9500rpm and 60,000km's stand out like a motor that isn't exactly fresh. :D

BBE or more appropriately BBQ. :P

How is your oil pressure, I don't believe you have answered?

A motor can appear fine when its not.. Guilt Toy's is a prime example, it began playing up 6months before it let go and began knocking.

But in all honestly... if you really have done 60,000km's and been flicking it to 9500rpm quite often its most definitely not going to be anything like a fresh motor. Its going to be worn and may very well have issues you are not aware of.

As the bearings showed signs of dirty oil you may have left a little swarf behind after drilling the oil restrictors out and or it was fitted up then later drilled out when you realised it had to be drilled out.

Is this the case as I believe in a previous post you made mention that you initially didn't know they had to be drilled out as it was a direct bolt on.

Aaron from slide the day i got turbo delivered sent a link explaining oil lines needed modding, in link it says to redrill banjo fittings to 6 mm and banjo oring (end off line to 55 mm ) this was all done as specs showed, even thou i got told originally it was strate bolt on

Never mind if I am wrong its my sceptical nature. :D

Slide has been kind enough to post pics and the report of what was wrong with the turbo... So you now know there was an oil supply problem. Can you possibly think of why there was an oil supply problem? Do you think it may have been the oil lines + a little swarf, engine oil pressure is lacking? Possibly a blocked oil galley turbo feed in the block?

Take the criticism on the chin and forget about it, try to work through with everyone and get to the bottom of what the problem was. It clearly wasn't a fauly turbo as the bearings showed lack of oil.

ive got a question, wouldnt it be right to say if he does it himself he has only himself to blame, hence would also void any type of warranty? what an idiot i mean if it is true 3-4 turbos since far out it would have to be a clear indication.

Meh wingers theres always one that is never happy.

NEXT time why dont you buy a non turbo car, save you some money and hasseling or get a "Professional to do it" no no i dont mean yourself

If anything this is good publicity for Slide as the public have been shown that he is a reputable and trusted trader.

I plan to get one of his hiflows when I mod my GTST up in the next few months.
