Gtr Diff Into Gtst - 33

Hey Guys,

I can get my hands on a rear LSD from a R33GTR. Are they interchangeable with my GTST?

I have a Series 1 94 model so I'm pretty sure I dont have an LSD

You do have an LSD. Probly not worth it, just buy a mechanical if yours is open wheeling now.

To check if it's open wheeling, jack it up, hold one wheel and try and turn the other. If its really rooted like mine was, you will be able to turn one without the other turning

myn came with a gtr rear diff, series 2 gtst, has A-LSD on the spedo so must b able to fit!!

a possibly even cheaper option is getting your old LSD shimmed up..

but yes you have a viscous LSD

Actually he'll have the GTR V-spec diff which is active......so if you are getting a GTR LSD get a non-V-spec as it is a 2 way mechanical.

Viscous LSDs don't respond well to being shimmed as they are not an lsd in the common sense and the LS part is actually fully sealed.

Get a real mech diff either aftermarket or GTR with the whole subframe as the number of axle splines is different. I looked at it but it seemed too much drama so will grab an aftermarket.
