Car - $4000? (don't buy an auto and convert to manual)

Insurance/Stamp/Fuel/Mishaps & Extra costs like new tyres straight up - $2000 and thats with a non-fullcomp for a 17 y/o.

Turbo it - $1500 for a smallish turbo

Stereo - $1500 for all necessary and if you install yourself

Lowering - $1500 (unless its just springs and not shocks you want)

Neons - $don't

Mags - $1800 if you want something a little decent

If you have $13k+, go for it

Dear god turboing it would be a tad more than $1500 me thinks..? ECU, brakes engine turbo exhaust system for turbo + fitting.

Just buy a MX5 Turbo, kill it and make the world a better place.

Then save up for your Nissan beasty.

Heck my first Turbo was a Mitsibishi Cordia GSR Turbo, good bash around car and educated me on turbos.
