I bought myself a 1992 r32 gtst skyline in february. It had only just been imported and I was the first owner in Australia. I read somewhere that some guy had his skyline imported and then had the computer remapped so it could run the petrol from his country a bit better. Is that something I should do?

Is there any other suggestions of things I might want to have a look at?

Go through a tank of good petrol so it will clean out the old stuff, then warm up the car, stop, disconnect the battery for 10 minutes and put your interior light on. This will re-set the computer and it will go into learning mode. Connect the battery and go for a drive, the computer will learn where to advance the timing for the given petrol. If you want to, do a search for 'hunting' issues, you should be able to find a whole bunch of maintenance tips, cheers

Edit - 'ah, February, you probably have gone through a tank by now, eh'
