Ok folks..

Yesterday I went out to check out a r-34 which was in about a 3.5 rating condition.. Had the minor scratches here and there, dash board wasn't upto top notch, had a odd stock front bar its colour didnt match the car etc.. but one thing i've noticed when i had a look under the car and which bugged me the most was, there were TWO PINK markers under the car, on the LEFT and RIGHT rear wheel thingys (dont know the parts name  ) As far as i know, only wreckers use these markers to identify the parts, for which car etc.. Now im thinking this car had previously been in a accident or are these markers normal? Do every Skyline have them, if so, what are they?

I've just sketched up something to identify where these PINK markers were.. The car in the image is not a Skyline by the way.. Any helpful posts would be greatly appreciated.

He already said that the pic isnt of the actual car he was looking at (r34 gtt) but of another car just to show where the pink bits were.

Its probably from a wrecker. But at least you know the parts were changed then hey? IMHO i dont see it as being a bad thing, or a good thing either way.

he said it wasn't a skyline...

they will be replaced parts...if those cross-arms have been replaced its probbaly been in a medium to bad accident.. isnt the end of the world...just need it checked out by someone who can check the camber etc.

but in answering his question yes wreckers do use pink makers usually to identify parts... but they wouldnt just put a line in them. if there is not signs of damage then its been properly repaired in most cases or not damaged at all n marked for some other reason
