If it were up to me i would get a GT3071R with a 0.62 ar rated at about 500hp.

Its a great street turbo with full boost coming on at about 4000rpm. It will also make more power than your typical highflow.

It will spool up quicker than a GT30.

(Dont mean to start a war here! )

However, this is my opinion. The cheapest way is to ask yourself what power and what kind of power delivery you wish to have. This will save you time and money in the future as you wont have to keep spending money on things you wont need; and sellings things that are no longer required!!!

PS - I will be buying my GT3071R tommorrow from Rotomaster, will post up what happens as soon as its in spoolin'

im pretty sure xr6 turbo is rated at 700hp and is running a 1.06 a/r exhaust housing , correct me if im wrong. yes my gt30 was the " butchered one " as you put it lol !

It essentially runs the same design int wastegate. Yes a bigger turbine housing.

yea michael replied to ya in that post and i hav oprderd nismo 740cc injectors,044 fuel pump,z32 afm just now the power fc not sure if i can get or where
