Converting from HP to KW, is the exact same formula, whether the power is measured at the wheels, fly, gearbox, wherever...

KW = 0.746 * HP

If the HP is measured at the wheels, the KW figure, is at the wheels, if the HP is measured at the fly, the KW figure is from the fly.

What i do is just remember the number 1.34 as, 1 hp = 1.34kw. or close to. So to get from hp to kw you just do hp/1.34 or to get from kw to hp you do the opposite kw X 1.34

just remember one way like hp to kw then just do the opposite for the other way round, hope this helps ya Italiazr1
