Rb25det Run On Rb20det Loom And Ecu?

Hi all just put an rb25det in a 32 that had an rb20det and want to know if the new motor is compatible with the old loom and ecu

yes it is doable. you will need to have the ecu remapped to suit, I have a few base maps that are suitable to use as a starting point if you need them.

yes it can be done quite easily you dont have any vvt though and also if it is a series 2 motor you will need to use your coils and igniter off of the 32 engine.

Can use s1 or s2 coils but has to be remapped and a stand alone controller for vvt.

does anyone know if the s1 rb25det plugs fit the rb20det loom? do i have to make any pin changes on the ecu connector? is the vct ecu controlled or hydrolicly controlled?
