I had my old 33 shooting HUGE flames when I had a 3inch pipe. That is right I didnt have and exhaust and a muffler, it was a 3inch pipe with a bit of sheetmetal welded around the back to look like a muffler, was awesome, from 2nd to 3rd or 3rd to 4th, just let of the trottle and take an extra second or two on the change and BAM! :(

vidsorban of stagea flamage!! :)

Dump pipe, front pipe, no cat, little hot dog muffler then canon Apexi rear muffler with removable silencer in place.

Still running the stock auto ecu but with an Apexi SAFCII that needs a tune to lean it out a bit more.

It pops and farts on engine braking as well. It feels so much more powerful with the manual.

I will have a go at getting some pics but it could be a bit tricky.

Yep Revzone did the work so they know hot to do it all now. I had a few issues with some late and missing parts from Nissan so it’s not finished yet, just at a level that is drivable. The hand brake isn’t mounted, no boot on the gear leaver so I have a hole in the floor etc.

    • Oh, also, found out why the turbo blew. Wasn't a bearing but cyl 5's spark plug had its ground electrode come off somehow. Not sure how it didn't f**k anything else up but I'm not complaining LOL
    • Trying to find some brake pads for the oem brembo's but every site i use shows a different measurement. Would anyone be able to confirm what the actual specs are or which pads to get? Showing front pads just to keep things simple: DBA has 2 options: length width thickness 119.3 x 71.1 x 14 119.8 x 73.7 x 13.7 https://dba.com.au/product/front-street-series-brake-pads-db1170ss/ https://dba.com.au/product/front-street-series-brake-pads-db1520ss/   Bendix's site says 120mm x 74mm x 14mm (Length x Width x Thickness) https://www.bendix.com.au/catalogue/nissan/skyline/2-6-twin-turbo-4x4-r33/nissan-skyline-2-6-twin-turbo-r33-2-6l-206kw-awd-coupe-1994-1999?filter=Brake Pad Set&alternative=Std. 4-Wheel Disc#DB1520   And super cheap auto's system showed them as 76.6 x 65.6 x 13   Very confusing.
    • Oh no, I had already blew a turbo in June. I bought that second turbo and it blew it November LOL Also yeah, that makes sense
    • I assume that Nissan give you a tiny little jack in the back of the car, with the spare. They expect a random human to be able to tighten a wheel up enough. Then I assume a mid 40's person putting a wheel on with the equipment in the boot is considered 'okay' probably. Maybe. Someone had to think of this. I would wager wheels won't fall off from anybody using better equipment.
