Where To Hook Up Bleed Valve Hose After Fmic Install

Hey guys and girls,

Have just installed my FMIC and a nice Greddy plumback BOV, however I'm un-sure as to where to hook up the bleed valve hose to now.

The old cooler pipe was the standard Blitz item + BOV that the majority of Skylines arrive out here with, and it had a nipple to attach the hose before the bov. Any suggestion on where to hook it up now?

Would really appreciate the help.

tap in a new nipple in the cooler piping that goes from the turbo to the intercooler and run it off that

Spot on. Most of the cheaper coolers dont have a nipple and you have to tap the cooler piping. Do it just before the cooler piping meets the inlet manifold.

Considering its a Hybrid kit I'm a little dissapointed that it didn't have one.

Can I just purchase said tap from somewhere or do I have to get it professionally done?

just get it from an automotive shop with the correct nipple to put ur vacume line on.

and get some PTFE (teflon tape) to seal it

I am in the same position with the hybrid kit. Prob good to get it professionally done as the pipe is aluminium (on the hybrid kit) therfore requires TIG welding, which requires quite a bit of expertise. I am getting mine done tommorow from an exhaust place, hopefully it will fix my overboosting issues.
