i had a nitro car a while ago. it was a road car though.. theyre fun little things. i sold it and recently bought an electric one. the nitros are such a bitch to maintain and hard to drift.

but the buggies look fun. theyre the only nitros i'd buy.

i dont think the bigger motors need to be richened up when they get hot, the smaller ones do so you're lucky there :)

Nitro RC cars are a lot of fun. I used to have a Tamiya TG10 and for about 12 months it kept me entertained every weekend. I gave it up in the end because it was starting to cost me too much to run. It seemed every time I took it out for a run something would break on it, and it was usually something that was expensive to replace.

But anyway, I've been thinking about getting another one lately, probably an off-road buggy this time though.

Cool fellas, thanks for the replies. It's been running faultlessly since I blew up the front cv joint, then the rear diff pinion - just a manufacturing fault as it's been running great since.

Will take some pics of it midair tomorrow.
