edit: before writing a post i probably should have read the ns thread, and realised that you just installed a fmic, sorry i just got up!

could be coils, my bet is on piping actually

Well its not happening all the time so thats why I dont think its cooler piping or coils. I am thinking fuel pump atm, ie back off and it cuts the fuel and then when I punch it it cant pump through enough to keep up the pressure.

Idles fine. Boosts fine normally like I get go through the gears with only a slight miss in 3rd and 4th.

Doesnt get really bad until I back off and punch it again like I said in the ns thread. Lol im so cheap dont want to pay to fix it :laugh:

vacuum hoses?

O2 sensor plugged in?

cant get it to miss at idle so cant check your coilpacks, but maybe do the silicon thing on them anyway - there's a DIY somewhere on skylines...

if it was a flat out cooler pipe it would stall at idle, but if its only a slight leak under load then i'm not sure... but in theory it might cut out as you change gears and when you release the clutch it could fire up the engine again...

just throwing some things in the air here, hope it helps
