Attessa switching?

Hi,

I read somewhere that removal of one fuse on an R32 GTR will disable Attessa rendering it RWD only.

Is it as simple as wiring a switch into this circuit to switch Attessa on and off (eg: for drag racing/ burnouts)?

i got told if u leave the attessa system disabled for too long it will damage the transfer case eventually...how true is this???

not so on the 32

but yes on the 33=34

i think you could wear out the 32 transfer if you never used 4wd drive over say 40000k but weho the hel does that

When switching the attessa off you will also lose ABS!(anti-skid)

The lights on the dash also light up showing that the 4wd (red)and the ABS (yellow) isnt working.

pretty much for abit of fun when ya want it, but there should not be any prob with the trans, only know problems are on r33 r34. not with r32 they are the best and always will be for tuning and tweaking.My 2 cents. Cheers Rob.

had to remove my fuse due to putting smaller size wheels on the back my torque meter was loosing it so I decided to remove the fuse to ease it

If you want to disable attessa and ABS on a 32 you can while coasting. walking pace is enough. turn the ignition off. (caution straight roads are best for this. also loose power steer brake assistance etc) then turn ignition back on and restart. ABS and 4WD lights will stay on ie no attessa no ABS. makes the car quite different to drive. the system will restart the first time you come to a complete stop or when you turn ignition off then on again.

here is one for ya

if you have a fuse cut (it wont cut the abs)and turn off the 4wd now when you reconect the fuse while the engine is still on 4wd wont come back you have to turn off the engine and reset to get 4wd back

if you use the roling tech above you loose abs as well however you dont have to reset cause it does it when you stop
