R33 Gtr Seat Trim Colours

I've noticed that R33 GTR's have 2 different colour seat trims, even within the same colour type car.

Red

& Blue

Could someone explain what years / series came out with which or if they're different specs etc!?

AFAIK Series 1 (1995) had Blue, Series 2 and 3 (1996-1998) had Red....

I have a 96 s2 with blue

Only series 3 had red (97/98) rest had blue/purple.

Andrew , only series III had red inserts, series II are blue but series II+III have the same audio surround and steering wheel. Passengers airbag was standard on SII+III but option and SI.
