Hi all

I have a set of Tein Super Streets but find adjusting the rear dampening a real pain!

Through the boot I can kind of squeeze in 2 fingers to turn the knob, but its pretty hard when you want to adjust it more than a couple of clicks.

The proper way I guess is to either take off the rear seats or get an EDFC (not worth the $1000 parts and labour cost)

Sooo...does anyone here have any neat tricks that makes adjusting easier? eg. extension cables for the adjustment knob from other branded coilover kits, or anything else funky?

Thanks

If you're paying 1k for the EDFC you're getting ripped man...

Bring one in from overseas, should have one here for around $500 or so. Labour should be sweet f**k all aswell, very easy to install

$1000????? WOW!!! Parts here in Aust retail at $650. Fitting including wiring should only take 2 hours. Front Motors can be fitted while in car, rear shocks out, fit motor, refit shocks then run the cables. 2 hours max.

When i fit a full kit (Tein Struts and EDFC) i only charge 1 hour extra labour for EDFC.

They should have come with a little allen style tool that fits into the top of the adjustor so there is no need to grab the adjustor itself. Its a little bit of straight hex with a green plastic knob on the end to hold onto...

My Tein HA's came with it anyway...
