Just done a rb25det swap into a 93 32 that had a rb20det in it and have hit a snag when i found out that the 32 dash plug was infact several plugs.... what wires do i need to cut and join into the rb25 dash loom connector???

also it looks as though there are more harnesses in the rb20 loom, such as the abs, hicas? some 8 pin connector that is covered in conductive grease...that has 6 pins in the rb20 loom and 8 in the rb25loom...???

that connector lived infront of the front left strut tower...if that helps...

also there is three connectors on the 32 near the relay box, one with 2 pins one with one pin and one with a few... the middle connector has a white blue wire 8-10gauge does that run to the alternator? because the 33 loom looks like it runs from the starter to the alternator or something like that, independant of where it goes the rb25det loom doesent have a plug to connect it to near the relay box, what does the white blue wire do?

are there any other things hiding in the rb20 loom that will have to be cut out and added into the 25loom???

any help would be greatley appreciated

i have searched for the dash loom pinouts for a 32 and 33 but have had no luck....if someone could provide the info or the limks that would be much appreciated

one more thing does anyone know if this has been covered somewhere on some site somewhere???

Thanks Acea

I just got my RB25DET (series 2) and I was hoping you could help me with some questions.

My Skyline is non turbo so it will be a big step with the RB25.

Now then, my first question is about the gearbox mounts, I hear they aren't the same and I will also have problems with the speedo meter. What do you know about this? Can I use the Xmember of the R33 ??

The second is about the harness, everyone that has ever swapped an engine told me that the harness is the most difficult part of the swap. Do you have the diagram of the R32 and the R33 (still can't find it for the R32) and some pointers on how this is done??

Hope to get a reply from you soon
