hey guys,

wat is this pipe connected too and what is it for?

it was connected to the standard intercooler pipe, as shown, and the other photo shows where it is in the engine. am stuck atm with the install of the cooler,

please note that the black pipe shown by itself, is the standard cooler pipe. it has a connection point circled, and that is where the small pipe in the other pic connects to

the pipes in both of your pics would have a boost controller inbetween them

theres no boost controller in between the pipe and the connection point. It jus connects straight to the intercooler pipe

Thats the way it was before i changed any piping

It regulates the boost pressure on your actuator....it gets a fairly accurate reading there as its close to the turbo

i just did a cooler install..

the nipple on the pipe is what runs off the boost solenoid or something ...

fact is i dont really know where it ends but i know that running your car without that vacuum hose being run back into the cooler piping your engine will run unlimited boost and basically..

I simply went to ricol and got a nipple put into my cooler piping.. hooked it up and kicked her over..

cost me 20 bucks

u cant finish install tonight unless you want to ruin your engine... if you plant it that is... just go get one of those nipples from a hardware store or something tomoro and weld it on or make a thread in the pipe.. seal it with plumbers tape and off you go...
